mo nanya seputar DC, klo kita udah punya ADDS yang running di W2K3 (32bit) trus kita ada mesin baru (64 bit) dgn OS win2K3 enterprise (64bit) step2 apa yang harus kita lakuin klo mo create additional DC di mesin baru ini,...thanks berat

Caranya sama saja pak. Tidak ada yang berbeda untuk create ADC Windows 2003 Server x64.

Saya punya customer yg juga telah melakukan ini, step-step yang harus dilakukan seperti biasa anda membuat

ADC(Additional Domain Controller), sudah mencoba nya?

1. Install windows Server 2003 di server baru, join domain kemudian DCPROMO jadikan server baru sebagai ADC.

kalau memang anda ingin Migrate semuanya ke server baru, pindahkan juga operations mastersnya.

aku install ADC di mesin 64bit dgn Windows 2003 Enterprise (64bit) ada pesan eror sbb:

 " The operation failed because :
The Active Directory INstallation wizard cannot continue because the forest is not prepared for installing windows Server 2003. Use the Adprep command-line tool to prepare both the forest and the domain."

"The version of the Active Directory schema of the source forest is not compatible with the version of Active Directory on this computer"

nah , padahal di domain controler nya yang Windows 2K3 (32bit) sdh aku running "adprep /forestprep" dan "adprep /domainprep", jd kendalanya ada dimana yh mas,..
