Kepada teman-teman sekalian,

Selama tiga hari ini file server dan active directory server di kantor saya selalu blue screen (local) terus namun masih bisa di remote dari client, hari pertama, kedua server tsb saya restart, namun beberapa jam kemudian (sore harinya) hal yang sama tetap terjadi dan dievent viewer nya muncul pesan-pesan sbb:
Pertama:
"Driver Microsoft Office Document Image Writer Driver required for printer Microsoft Office Document Image Writer is unknown. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again." 
Kedua
"Driver FX Document Centre 405 PCL 6 required for printer FX Document Centre 405 PCL 6 is unknown. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again."

Pertanyaan saya:
1. Apakah di file server dan di aktif directory server harus selalu kita upgrade driver printernya, bgmn di server lainnya?
2. Apa yang menyebabkan server saya ini terus menerus blue screen ya?

Tolong kepada teman-teman sekalian dibantu ya solusinya.

jika terlihat dari error message nya jelas terlihat itu dari driver yg harus di update.....tapi yg gw heran kenapa itu harus diupdate ?....apakah ada kejadian sebelumnya yang berhubungan dengan maintenance kedua buah material tsb ?

Saya juga rada bingung dan kurang tahu apakah perlu driver printer diinstal pada file server dan ADC server?
Karena kan fungsi printing ada di client yang menggunakan printer Xerox yang ada print server sendiri.
Sampai hari ini penyakit ini masih terus terjadi Bung dexav4, setiap hari jam 5:2x am file server ini mere-boot sendiri, namun karena ada proses yang tidak bisa diberhentikan jadinya server bladenya hang dan tidak bisa diakses oleh client. Oleh karena itu terpaksa harus di hard reboot.

Mohon pencerahannya teman-teman sekalian.

kalo ga salah, driver printer yang muncul di server itu adalah printer dari client yang dimapping ke server pada saat akses melalui RDP (CMIIW).

Saya kira problemnya bukan di driver printer tsb.  Coba cek lagi error/warning message yang terjadi sesaat sebelum server reboot.

Sepertinya untuk yang printer analisa anda tepat sekali dan untuk penyebab server reboot tsb, saya coba urutkan kejadiannya dari event viewer server saya berikut:

Event Viewer dari DC server:
"The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the pool was empty."

"The server was unable to find a free connection 37 times in the last 60 seconds. This indicates a spike in network traffic. If this is happening frequently, you should consider increasing the minimum number of free connections to add headroom. To do that, modify the MinFreeConnections and MaxFreeConnections for the LanmanServer in the registry."

"The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer 114-040046 that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{E92A0193-CDBC-4E4. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced."

Event viewer dari File Server:

"The previous system shutdown at 5:29:56 AM on 5/13/2008 was unexpected."

"The Symantec AntiVirus service was successfully sent a stop control."

"The Volume Shadow Copy service entered the stopped state."

"The Volume Shadow Copy service entered the running state."

"The Volume Shadow Copy service was successfully sent a start control."

"The Removable Storage service entered the stopped state."

FYI: our file server is using SAN which attached using FC from the Blade server to the SAN storage.

Dari error message, keliatannya ada aplikasi/service yang menghabiskan non-paged pool.

Coba monitor dengan menggunakan Task Manager --> Processes.

Buka menu View --> Select Columns, tambahkan Non-paged Pool.

Biasanya satu aplikasi/service menghabiskan <100K.  Coba monitor aplikasi/service tsb, mungkin perlu waktu agak lama unt uk mendapatkan data yang dicari.

Shutdown aplikasi/service yang menghabiskan non-paged pool.
