In Part 1, i write about how to install Exchange 2007 SP1 on top of Windows Server 2008 ([Part 1] Windows Server 2008 + Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1). Beside of that blog, i also delivered the session about that in Technet Session on 25 January 2008 at Microsoft Indonesia. Also, this one was go live in one of Indonesia Military.
Now, in part 2, just simple story...by feature Exchange 2007 SP1 on top of Windows Server 2003 SP2 or on top of Windows Server 2008 was same...but there is one different between them....what is that?
Yeap, it was IPv6 that supported by Windows Server 2008...as you can see in picture below, for SMTP routing (in Receive Connector and Send Connector) we can use IPv6...so, for you all that using IPv6 now, you can setup routing in Exchange 2007 SP1 if your mail server was using IPv6. ;)
