Folks
May 2008 will be a defining month for my journey in life. As the month goes by, the ship that will bring me sailing through the ocean of IT should also be chosen. Will it be the same ship, or a different one?
For this, I need your suggestion and inputs. Before you give your comments, allow me to share a little a few things that play quite a big role in getting me where I am right now.
Being the chief of ITB's Informatics Engineering Student Union is one of the things that change my life.
There's where my passion begin to grow. The experience to contribute and interact in an organization has also given me a taste of leadership and taught me to be a more disciplined person.
Not so long after that, being a Microsoft Student Partner has given me access to things that opens my eyes on the available technologies in the market. The collaboration of it all has in the end given me sweet memories before my graduation, such as the competitions I joined. Won Lomba Cipta Elektroteknik Nasional (LCEN) 2006 at ITS, runner-up for ITB research competition, won Software Design – Imagine Cup 2006 in Jakarta, which gives me the opportunity to go to India to join World Final Imagine Cup 2006.
The journey in a big ship started in June 1st of 2007. Tons of IT Pro and Developer sessions have been given. From the big session in Grand Launch, sessions at enterprises, to a general lecture in a university. Around 30 writings in different text media, such as PC Media, CHIP, Infokomputer, eIndonesia, to Kompas has been created in the last 12 months that approximately reach 10 million readers.
There are 3 things that keeps me sailing with this ship today, which are:
-
-
-
I still can taste the great Indonesian foods, rice, sayur, asem, bebek goreng, sambel trasi and ikan asin.
Just as the previous comments from my friends here. Your comments will also be very valuable for my future, and maybe for the future of the country...
